1 What do we do if the school administrators give us problems?

2 How can we create unity amongst the Muslims in the school/campus?
involve the students in the activities
the officers should not be the only ones organizing
when the students help out in the activities thank them and make them known
the officers should make an effort to get to know everyone who comes to juma and MSA activities
the officers should listen and give feedback to suggestions
take suggestions from everyone
3 No one is serious. what can we do to improve the state of the MSA?
Great leaders have had the same problems
Never loose hope
Put your trust in Allah (swt) & ask Him for guidance
a strong leader strengthens everyone
learn from your mistakes
rethink your plan of action
see what other MSAs are doing
4 We have meetings but no one shows up. what can we do as a member/officer?
Don’t have too many meetings. Have a few effective ones.
Call a speaker and have him talk about something that will interest people. Make an announcement. (i.e. Get a convert to come and tell his story of his journey to Islam)
After the activity talk to the students and tell them about future activities/events
Show students that what you say you will do.
Provide incentives for students to attend meetings. (i.e. food)
Is it worth the effort? Yes. You are working for the sake of Allah and Insha’Allah you will be rewarded for your efforts.

5 How do you approach the subject of guy/girl relations with young Muslims who don't have a background in this subject?
invite a speaker
have the speaker go over the basics
provide an opportunity for the students to ask questions
have both brothers and sisters in the same lecture
have younger speakers because the students will be more receptive to them
